Happy 6th Birthday to Keegan!
Somehow Keegan's birthday always ends up being on or close to dates that we have to travel for something. Though he's had some pretty awesome, unique birthdays because of it. This year, his birthday ended up falling on the eve of a very last-minute, AF directed vacation. ;)
Thankfully, he's our laid-back, go-with-the-flow kiddo, so he rolls with the chaos just fine. We had our usual birthday pancake breakfast, then an impromptu bowling party with a couple of his closest buddies from our homeschool group.
At age 6:
- You are S-I-L-L-Y!!!!
- You are B-U-S-Y!!!!!!!
- You still love to cuddle.
- You love Star Wars.
- You just finished your first year as an AWANA Spark.
- You've lost your two bottom front teeth.
- You are an orange belt in karate.
- You are a polite gentleman and very outgoing.
- You talk, sing or make noise...pretty much constantly!
- You happily serve our family with your chores and responsibilities.
- You have become quite a capitalist finding extra chores or ways to earn quarters for your piggy bank. (Mama loves your back walks and foot massages!)
- You are in Kindergarten and school isn't always your favorite thing, but you love CC days.
- You make us laugh with all the crazy things you think up.
- You delight us with your creativeness, especially when building lego creations.
- You surprise us with your thoughtful, deep questions about God and the world around you.
Our family wouldn't be as animated, noisy or full of laughter without you, Keegan! You are a blessing to us all and we can't wait to see the plans God has for you!
