We surpassed the six month mark last week. It's hard to believe Daddy's homecoming is not too far off!
The kids and I have been talking about making a paper chain since the beginning of the deployment, but seriously, having over 200 links was a bit much! Having less than 50...now that we can do!
Mommy cut the strips, Keegan cut the tape, Connor put it together and Zoë and Reagan supervised.
Since even Alan doesn't know exactly when he's coming home, I will likely have to sneak extra links on or off, but that's ok.
Now as for the jar of kisses...we have clearly not enjoyed a kiss from Daddy all 180+ days so far. Nor will we be gobbling down all the extras. I will have to stash them away after the kids go to bed one night!
